How it all started...
Pastor Todd DuBord launched MLCC in 2014 with our first service held in the Almanor Recreation Center (ARC) on Easter Sunday. We met in the ARC for nearly a year, lugging equipment for our worship team, and tech in and out each Sunday. We set up chairs, prepared coffee and welcomed anyone who wished to know more about the Lord. The first Christmas in the ARC was magical!
We were eventually gifted with a building which was once the home of Chester Theatre. It is still the home of Mt. Lassen Community Church, but has been converted to Mt. Lassen Theatre, a place for family focused Christian entertainment.

Expanding the vision...
Today we have a vibrant group of people who meet each Sunday and share the love of God with anyone who would like to know more about Jesus. Our worship service is at 9:30am .
During Summer, we often meet in the Chester Park, which is adjacent to our building. We will be holding Church in the Park June-August. Check our homepage for more details. We hope to see you there!!
A New Pastor
From Easter 2024 until March 2025, MLCC went through nearly a year in transition as we prepared for a new Sr. Pastor. In March 2025 God blessed us with our new Sr. Pastor Jeff Atchison and his wonderful wife Geneva. They are adjusting to the cold weather, but are enjoying the warm fellowship. May God grant us a long and fruitful ministry together!
