Pastoral Search Position Announcement
Located in Chester, California, Mt. Lassen Community Church (MLCC) is prayerfully seeking to fill the position of Senior Pastor.
MLCC is an evangelically conservative, non-denominational Christian fellowship located where the Sierra and the Cascade Mountain ranges meet in Northern California, near the forested shores of beautiful Lake Almanor.
Our mission is “Helping People Find and Follow God”.
MLCC (which meets in the Mt. Lassen Theatre) is a warm and welcoming mountain community of Christians, who are here for one primary purpose: “To Help People Find and Follow God.” We’re not in a rush, race or competition, but rather here simply to love and encourage people to follow God.
The Senior Pastor will be someone who is called by God to support the beliefs, missions, values, and strategy of MLCC, and provide ministerial oversight by shepherding the congregation and staff in spiritual and relational growth.
The church places an emphasis on filling the position with a person of prayer who meets the qualifications of pastor, teacher and an elder as found in scripture.
